Paris, 22 April 2025 – Engineering company ABMI has announced that it is joining GIFAS (Groupement des Industries Françaises Aéronautiques et Spatiales), a strategic step in its development and commitment to the French aerospace industry.
ABMI has a nationwide presence and for over forty years has been supporting major aerospace manufacturers in their technical, digital and organisational transformation projects. Its membership of GIFAS is recognition of its expertise and its long-standing involvement in this strategic sector.
‘Joining GIFAS not only means extending our long-term commitment to the aerospace industry, but also becoming part of a collective drive to build the industry of the future,’ says François Laborde, Chairman of the ABMI Group
By joining GIFAS, ABMI aims to make an active contribution to the ongoing debate on decarbonising air transport, digitalising industrial processes and optimising the energy performance of on-board systems.
“Our expertise is fully aligned with the current challenges facing the industry. We have the capacity to provide concrete, agile and responsible solutions, whether in product engineering, automation or industrial innovation”, emphasises the group’s management.
ABMI’s decision to take part in GIFAS’s work is part of a process of co-construction with the other members of the group. As a cross-functional player operating across the entire value chain – from R&D through to industrialisation – ABMI is keen to make its voice heard as an engineering company that is close to the regions, responsive and focused on the ecological transition.
The company plans to join a number of GIFAS thematic committees over the coming months, focusing in particular on innovation, sustainable production and SME relations.
ABMI is a French multi-sector engineering group that supports industrial companies in the design, development and industrialisation of their projects. With a nationwide presence, ABMI operates in the aerospace, energy, defence, automotive and new mobility sectors. In 2022, ABMI joined the HOUSE OF ABY group to accelerate its development.
]]>February 2025 – Lahocy and ABMI, two centres of expertise in the HOUSE OF ABY group, have just launched a strategic collaboration with a common objective: to combine their skills to meet the growing challenges of infrastructure and networks. It’s an initiative that illustrates HOUSE OF ABY’s core mission: to create synergies that enable us to go further, together.
The first meeting between the two companies took place at Lahocy’s headquarters in Plérin last month. A second meeting followed in early April, this time at ABMI in Tours. These exchanges enabled the two companies to identify areas for joint action, particularly in the field of critical infrastructures, a sector where reliability, security and performance are more essential than ever today.
‘The objective is clear: to pool our expertise in order to offer our customers comprehensive, tailor-made solutions,’ explains Matthieu Szczesny, HOUSE OF ABY Sales Director. “These meetings are laying the foundations for a concrete collaboration that will enhance the performance of local authorities.
This dynamic is driven by a shared conviction: tomorrow’s engineering will either be collaborative or it won’t be. Together, ABMI and Lahocy intend to offer an integrated approach, capable of covering the entire value chain: studies, design, implementation and maintenance.
Their joint mission? To ensure the security and performance of infrastructures and networks, by providing complementary expertise, proven methodologies and turnkey solutions.
This merger is not just about technical complementarity. It is part of a shared corporate culture based on strong values:
Values that Lahocy and ABMI share with all HOUSE OF ABY group entities. Creating synergies, at the heart of the HOUSE OF ABY project
This collaboration is a very concrete illustration of HOUSE OF ABY’s mission: to connect talents, know-how and visions to create more collective value.
By facilitating exchanges between its different areas of expertise, the Group is encouraging the emergence of innovative projects that are adapted to the realities on the ground, and that carry meaning. A strategy of convergence that enables our customers to benefit from more agile, more intelligent and more human engineering.

This first step lays the foundations for a collaboration that is set to expand over the coming months. New projects are already being studied, with the aim of developing integrated offerings for public and private infrastructure operators.
‘This type of initiative embodies what we want to build at HOUSE OF ABY: an interconnected, vibrant group, capable of combining expertise to better serve the collective interest’, concludes Florian Massaux, CEO HOUSE OF ABY.
]]>Montreal, February 2025 – HOUSE OF ABY is taking a major step forward in its international development by announcing its official establishment in Canada. This initiative, supported by the ABMI group and managed locally by Cédric Jean-Jean, marks a new ambition for the collective: to offer its expertise in engineering and innovation to a market undergoing rapid transformation.
True to its DNA, HOUSE OF ABY is committed to playing an active role in Canada’s major forward-looking projects. By establishing a lasting presence in the local landscape, the goal is clear: to support industrial players in tackling their technological, energy, and digital challenges—leveraging proven expertise, rapid deployment capabilities, and a culture rooted in commitment.
“Canada is a land of innovation, with a robust industrial ecosystem and large-scale projects. This expansion reflects our desire to operate where the stakes are high and where our expertise can truly make a difference,” says Cédric Jean-Jean, Director of International Development.
The choice of Canada is no coincidence. With its dynamic industrial network, major investments in renewable energy, smart infrastructure, and clean technologies, the country offers a tremendous opportunity for companies seeking purpose, impact, and innovation.
More importantly, there is a deep alignment of values: a spirit of collaboration, a shared commitment to building a sustainable energy future, and a culture of excellence in which HOUSE OF ABY fully sees itself.
This expansion paves the way for:
“This isn’t just about opening a new office. It’s a project driven by a clear vision: that of an agile collective, focused on tomorrow’s major challenges. We want to build bridges, foster synergy, and co-create with our local partners a sustainable, high-performing, and human-centered future,” says Florian Massaux, CEO of HOUSE OF ABY.
